Pietro "Peter" L. Grande

Peter passed away on November 20, 2024 at the age of 88. He is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Concetta (nee Pono), his wife Joan, brother Carl, and sister and brother-in-law Antoinette and Anthony Di Silvestro. Peter is survived by his brother Joseph and sisters-in-law Julia and Mary. He is the uncle of Connie (Jose) Ortiz, Joseph (Amy) Grande, Lisa (and the late Anthony) Cavalier, Kathleen Di Angelo and Joseph (Shan) Grande. Peter is also survived by many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

For many years, Peter worked as a machinist for the Allen Sled Company until the company relocated to Colorado. He even made a sled with wheels for his brother Joe to use in any weather (envied by all). Pete continued in the work force as a bartender working for several establishments.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Monday, December 2, 2024 at Holy Innocents Church, 1337 E. Hunting Park Avenue, Philadelphia, PA (at the intersection of L Street and E. Hunting Park Avenue). His visitation begins at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM. Interment is private.
