James Raymond Almquist, Jr.

James passed away suddenly in his home on October 20, 2024; he was 46 years old. He is the son of Harriet "Happy" McGinley (nee Silk) and the late James R. Almquist, Sr. James is the brother of Jason Almquist, Thomas (Caroline) McGinley and Sean McGinley and uncle of Veronica McGinley. James is also survived by his many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend James funeral on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Holy Innocents Church, L Street and E. Hunting Park Avenue. His visitation begins at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM. The interment is private.

Family prefers memorial contributions be made to Holy Innocents Church, 1337 E. Hunting Park Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19124.
